We are not a government website
Govt Job Diary is a privately run job-information website. We are not a government department, not a public sector undertaking, not a recruitment board, not an examination authority, and not a placement or recruitment agency. We have no connection with any of them, and none of them endorses us.
Our domain is not a .gov.in or .nic.in address, and it never will be. If you are looking for an official portal, the link on each listing takes you to it — always check the address bar before entering personal details or paying anything.
What we actually publish
Every listing here is a summary of somebody else’s document. We read the notification issued by a department, board or employer and re-present the parts people need quickly: the important dates, the eligibility, the fee, the vacancy breakdown, and a link to the original.
The recruitment itself belongs to the issuing organisation. Applications for government posts are made on that organisation’s own portal, never here. We do not accept applications on their behalf, and we do not forward anything to them.
Accuracy — and why you must still check
We take care with every listing and we correct mistakes quickly, but we cannot guarantee that anything on this site is complete, current or free of error. Recruitment information changes constantly:
- corrigenda are issued after a notification is published;
- last dates are extended, sometimes more than once;
- vacancy counts, fees and age limits are revised;
- exams are postponed, and result links are moved or withdrawn;
- a typing error can creep in when a long notification is summarised.
A listing can be right when we publish it and out of date an hour later. So before you apply, before you pay a fee, and before you travel to an exam centre, verify the details on the official website. We accept no liability for a missed deadline, a rejected application, a wasted fee or a lost opportunity.
If you find something wrong, please tell us — use the contact form and pick “Correct a job listing”. Corrections are checked against the official source and usually fixed the same day.
No promise of a job
Nothing here is an offer of employment, and nobody on this site can influence a selection. We have no role in shortlisting, examinations, interviews, merit lists or appointments. Reading a listing, applying through a portal we link to, or sending us a message gives you no claim to a post.
We never charge, and nor does anyone on our behalf
We do not charge for listings, alerts or applications. Examination and application fees, where they apply, are paid on the official portal alone. Nobody is authorised to collect money in our name.
Treat any of the following as fraud, and report it to us and to the police:
- a guaranteed job, seat or result offered in exchange for money;
- a fee demanded to “release” an offer or appointment letter;
- a request for your OTP, password, or card details to complete an application;
- a payment page that is not on the official domain of the organisation you are applying to.
Private job listings
Some private-sector vacancies carry an apply form on our site, and those details are passed to the employer who posted the role. We do not independently verify every employer, we are not party to any employment contract, and we have no say in hiring decisions, salary or terms. Do your own checks before sharing documents, joining, or paying anything to a prospective employer.
Links to other websites
Our listings link to official notification PDFs, application portals, employer websites and result pages. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave this site, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Copyright in official material
Notification texts, advertisement numbers, logos and results belong to the government departments and employers that issued them, and are referred to here for public information only. No ownership is claimed over them. If you own material on a page here and want it removed, write to [email protected] with the page address and proof of ownership — we act on genuine requests within 2 working days.
External content and advertising
We currently run no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site. If that changes, sponsored placements will be marked as such, and this page and our privacy policy will be updated before anything goes live. An advertisement is never an endorsement of the advertiser.
Availability
We try to keep the site up at all times but do not guarantee it. Pages may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons at our hosting provider, or for reasons outside anyone’s control, and we may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided “as is” and is used at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, Govt Job Diary and the people who run it are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited by law. This page forms part of our terms and conditions and should be read with them.
Changes to this disclaimer
We may revise this page. The revised version takes effect when published here, and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
