How it works

Add your files

Drop in photos, scans or PDFs, or choose them from your device. Nothing is uploaded — the work happens in your browser.

Say what you need

Pick the format, a maximum size in KB, and the exact pixels the form asks for. Or tap one of the common presets and it fills them in.

Download

Each file comes back with its new size and dimensions shown, ready to attach to your application.

Why application forms reject photographs

Almost every recruitment portal checks three things about an uploaded photograph before it will accept it: the file format, the file size in kilobytes, and the pixel dimensions. Miss any one and the upload fails, usually with a message that does not say which. It is one of the most common reasons an application stalls on the last step, minutes before a deadline.

The requirement is always written down — in the notification, or on the upload page itself. Read it first, set those exact numbers above, and the file you get back will be accepted. If a form asks for something not listed in the presets, type the numbers in yourself.

The presets are the sizes that recur most often, not a standard. The portal you are applying through is the only authority on what it will accept — check its instructions before converting. See our disclaimer.

Common questions

How do I reduce my photo to 50 KB for an online application form?

Add the photo above, choose JPG, set the maximum file size to 50 KB, and set the dimensions the form asks for — usually 200×230 pixels for a passport photo. The tool lowers the quality in steps until the file fits, so you get the smallest loss of detail that still meets the limit. There is a preset for exactly this.

What size should a signature be for a government job form?

Most portals ask for a signature of about 140×60 pixels under 20 KB, and a photograph of 200×230 pixels under 50 KB — but the numbers vary, and some ask for a thumb impression as well. The notification or the portal's own upload page states the requirement; read it before converting, because a file that is the wrong size is rejected at upload.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs inside your own browser using its built-in image and PDF handling, so your photographs and certificates never leave your device and never reach our server. That also means there is no queue and no waiting, and the tool keeps working on a slow connection.

Why is my PNG still too large after setting a size limit?

PNG stores images without losing any detail, so it has no quality dial to turn down — the only way to make a PNG smaller is to reduce its pixel dimensions. JPG compresses photographs far more effectively at the same size. For a photo or signature on an application form, choose JPG.

Can I combine several certificates into one PDF?

Yes. Add the images in the order you want them, choose “Combine into one PDF”, and each one becomes an A4 page, scaled to fit and centred without cropping. You can also merge existing PDF files into a single document the same way.

Can it convert Word documents to PDF?

Not at the moment. Converting a DOCX while keeping its layout needs the same software that wrote it, which is not something that can be done reliably in a browser. If you need a PDF of your resume, our ATS resume builder produces one directly.
