Govt Job Diary is an independent job-information website. We are not a government body, not a recruitment agency, and not connected to any examination board. We never charge a fee for a job, and we never promise anyone a job.

1. What this website is
We collect job notifications published by government departments, public sector undertakings, recruitment boards and private employers, and we re-present them in a form that is quicker to read: the important dates, the eligibility, the fee, the vacancy breakdown, and a link to the official notification and application portal.
Everything here is information about a recruitment. The recruitment itself belongs to the organisation that issued it. Applications for government posts are made on that organisation’s own portal, never here.
2. Accuracy, and why you must check the official notification
We take care with every listing, but we are summarising someone else’s document, and those documents change — corrigenda are issued, last dates are extended, vacancy counts are revised, and exams are postponed. A listing can be correct when we publish it and out of date an hour later.
So, plainly:
- The official notification always wins. Where this site and the official PDF differ, the official PDF is right and we are wrong.
- Check dates and eligibility on the official website before you apply, and before you pay any fee.
- We give no warranty that any listing is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for a missed date, a rejected form or a wasted fee.
If you spot something wrong, please tell us — use the contact form and pick “Correct a job listing”. We check corrections against the official source and fix them quickly.
3. No fee, and how to spot a fraud
We never ask you for money, and no one is authorised to ask for money on our behalf. Government examination fees, where they apply, are paid on the official portal alone.
Treat any of the following as a fraud, and report it to us and to the police:
- Anyone offering a guaranteed job, a seat, or a result in exchange for money.
- Anyone asking for a fee to “release” an offer letter or an appointment letter.
- Anyone asking for your OTP, password, or card details to complete an application.
- A payment page that is not on the official domain of the department or company you are applying to.
4. Applying for private jobs through this site
Some private-sector listings carry an apply form on our site. When you use it, your name, email, mobile number and the post you applied for are recorded and shared with that employer or their recruiter, as described in our privacy policy.
- Submitting the form is an expression of interest. It is not an application to us, and not an offer.
- Hiring decisions, interviews, salary and terms of employment are entirely the employer’s. We have no say in them and cannot chase them for you.
- We do not verify every employer independently. Do your own checks before sharing documents, joining, or paying anything to a prospective employer.
- Give us truthful details. A false application may be removed.
5. How you may use the site
You are welcome to read, print and share our pages, and to link to them. You may not:
- copy listings in bulk, scrape the site automatically, or republish our pages as your own content;
- use the site in a way that interferes with its working, or attempts to break its security;
- send bulk, abusive or fraudulent messages through our forms;
- use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
We may block access, remove content, or withdraw a form from anyone who does these things, without notice.
6. Intellectual property
The notification texts, advertisement numbers and results published by government departments and employers belong to those organisations, and are reproduced here for public information. Our own summaries, page layout, design and code belong to Govt Job Diary. Our name and logo may not be used without written permission.
If you own content on a page here and want it removed, write to [email protected] with the page address and proof of ownership, or use the contact form and pick “Remove content”. We respond to genuine takedown requests within 2 working days.
7. Links to other websites
Our listings link to official notification PDFs, application portals and employer websites. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave this site, the other site’s terms and privacy policy apply.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site up at all times, but we do not guarantee it. Pages may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons at our hosting provider, or for reasons outside anyone’s control. We may add, change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Govt Job Diary and the people who run it are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including a missed application deadline, a fee paid to a third party, a rejected form, loss of an opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because of how you used this site — for example, content you sent us that you had no right to send — you agree to reimburse us for the reasonable costs of dealing with it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top is updated. Please look at this page occasionally — continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
